The 14th Chattogram International Tourism Fair 2024 was held successfully in the port city of Chattogram from 30 May to 1 July. It was organized at Hotel Peninsula, Chattogram.
The Bangladesh Monitor, a travel magazine of Bangladesh, organized the fair to facilitate travel and hospitality services at the people’s doorsteps.
The fair was open from 10 AM to 8 PM, and entry was free for all visitors. Thirty agencies participated in the fair and showed their products and services to the visitors.
Both national and international agencies participated in the fair. 18 native agencies and 12 foreign agencies actively set up their stalls and described their services to the visitors.
Along with travel and hospitality agencies, some medical and healthcare organizations booked their stalls at the fair. Some stalls also provided visitors with investment options in the tourism industry.
Hotel and resort businesses, travel agencies, medical and healthcare organizations, online tourism service providers, and many more participated in the fair. There was a raffle draw for the visitors who came to the fair.
Md. Robin Khandakar, Senior Manager of Sales and Marketing of The Bangladesh Monitor, said, “We are very happy to see the interest from the visitors. They are glad to have all of the tourism services here, which can help them visit different places easily. We also want to arrange such a fair in the future so that the tourism industry can reach the people of Bangladesh broadly.”
Md. Shamsul Islam, Chairman of Amy (an Online Travel Agency), said, “We provide online tourism services to the people.
