Eastern Bank PLC (EBL) has signed a payroll banking agreement with SQ Group, a leading electrical product manufacturer in Bangladesh.
The agreement was signed at EBL’s head office in Dhaka, with M Khorshed Anowar, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Retail and SME Banking, and AZM Monjurul Quader, Chairman of SQ Electricals Limited, representing their respective organizations.
Under this partnership, SQ Group employees will gain access to EBL-exclusive banking services, including dual-currency debit cards, for seamless international transactions. They will also benefit from customized loan options and a range of financial perks.
Senior officials from both organizations attended the event, including Syed Zulkar Nayen, Trisha Taklim, Abdullah Al Masum, Golam Samdani, and Mohammad Mamunur Rashid Chowdhury.
