Dhaka Bank has signed an agreement with MetLife Bangladesh to offer its employees comprehensive life insurance coverage.

This partnership will ensure that more than 1980 Dhaka Bank employees are protected against critical illness, accidents, disabilities, and loss of life, said a press release.

Mr. Sheikh Mohammad Maroof, Managing Director of Dhaka Bank, and Ala Ahmad, Chief Executive Officer of MetLife Bangladesh signed the agreement recently in a ceremony attended by senior officials from both organizations.

Employee insurance coverage plays a critical role in fostering a sense of security and loyalty among the workforce. Providing insurance protection mitigates the financial burden on people in times of crisis and highlights an organization’s commitment to the well-being of its team.

Dhaka Bank has selected MetLife as its insurance provider due to MetLife’s consistent track record of claims settlement, customized solutions, advanced dashboards, cashless outpatient and ambulance service, and financial strength, which allows it to pay claims faster and without hassle.

“Dhaka Bank has a remarkable legacy of excellence in the banking industry of Bangladesh. By providing MetLife’s insurance for our employees and their families, we are demonstrating our commitment to the people who passionately contribute to the success of our organization,” commented Sheikh Mohammad Maroof, Managing Director of Dhaka Bank.

“We would like to congratulate Dhaka Bank for prioritizing employee wellbeing. MetLife remains committed to supporting organizations to create a secure and resilient future,” said Ala Ahmad, Chief Executive Officer of MetLife Bangladesh.

Dhaka Bank Limited has been one of the leading banks in Bangladesh since 1995. It offers a full range of banking services and investment opportunities to millions of customers.

MetLife provides insurance protection to over 1 million individual customers and 900 organizations in Bangladesh. In the last six years, MetLife Bangladesh has settled claims of more than 105 billion taka.
