Chittagong University Debating Society (CUDS) announces the launch of ‘CUDS Synergy: The Voice of Tomorrow 20th Season,’ an exclusive debate and skill development program designed to help newly enrolled CU students make their first academic year more productive, organized, and impactful.
The inauguration program and the first session of the two-month-long workshop were held on 17th December 2024 at the Management Department of the Faculty of Business Administration, CU.
The workshop will continue for two months, with more than 150 students registered to participate. Mehedi Hasan Emon, a debater and the General Secretary of CUDS, facilitated the first session on “Introduction to Asian Parliamentary Debate.” The program aims to prepare students for the challenges of the 21st century, ensuring they stay ahead in their academic and professional journeys.
“We aim to equip our freshers with the skills and knowledge they need to excel and remain competitive in today’s fast-evolving world,” said Marzook-E-Elahi, President of CUDS. “This program will help them turn their first year into a period of growth and opportunity.”
After completing a primary application, 150 participants were selected to join the program. BrainyZat supports the flagship event as the IT partner, TBS Graduates as the youth engagement partner, and Teach for Bangladesh as the strategic partner.
With a distinguished 29-year legacy, CUDS, the central debating organization of Chittagong University, continues to be a leading organization, fostering debate, critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills among students.
