Ananta Group to build Bangladesh’s first LEED-certified apartments

Ananta Group

Ananta Group, a leading garment exporter, is investing Tk 10.80 billion to build Ananta Terraces, Bangladesh’s first LEED Platinum-certified residential complex.

This eco-friendly gated community will feature nine 21-storey towers and offer residents clean air, natural light, and sustainable living.

LEED certification ensures energy and water efficiency, reducing utility bills. Entrepreneur Sharif Zahir, inspired by developments in other countries, sees a growing demand for such luxury flats in Bangladesh’s booming economy.

Construction is expected to start within three years and may cost up to Tk 14 billion due to rising material costs. Nine local banks have provided a Tk 5 billion loan, attracted by the project’s location and developer reputation.

Flat prices will be significantly lower, offering residents a world-class living experience at an affordable cost.

Over 60% of the project will be dedicated to green space, and amenities include a shopping mall, retail stores, restaurants, and a movie theater.

With 16 apartments already sold, financiers are confident of a successful project. Construction materials availability in Gulshan and Baridhara is limited, Madani Avenue was chosen as the ideal location.
